Mune el guardian de la luna ¿Porque Debia el guardian de la luna ser puro?

 El El otro día me vi una película francesa independiente llamada Mune: El guardián de la luna.

Y aunque no tengo nada demasiado nuevo que analizar, porque seguramente otros youtubers de cine ya lo han hecho antes, me di cuenta de un detalle que me dejó pensando.

Mientras que la prueba del guardián del sol consiste en una prueba de arpones, lo cual tiene cierto sentido ya que, en caso de que el sol se salga de su órbita, el guardián debe ser capaz de atraparlo, además de que eso implica que debe tener una naturaleza resistente al calor… la prueba para ser guardián de la luna parece mucho más sencilla: que un corderito se acerque y lo aprecie con cariño, sin detectar maldad en el futuro guardián.

Y creo que encontré el verdadero motivo detrás de ese ritual.

En la misma película se da a entender que la vida del guardián del sol y la del guardián de la luna están conectadas. Xolal y Yule, los guardianes anteriores del sol y de la luna, mueren al mismo tiempo, de manera irónica, incluso antes que sus propios predecesores. Phospho, el pez, y Necross, la montaña viviente que fueron guardianes mucho antes, siguen con vida durante la película.

Creo que el propósito real de que el guardián de la luna deba ser puro es que él es quien debe resistir la corrupción de las Serpientes Pálidas. Si el guardián de la luna no es puro, no podría liberar al guardián del sol en caso de que este cayera en la oscuridad, y el mundo terminaría sumido en tinieblas.

Phospho pudo descorromper a Sohone, actual guardian del Sol Y Mune, el actual guardián de la luna, logra purificar y liberar a Necross, quien había sido un guardián del sol corrompido.

Y aquí entra otro detalle importante: Leeyoon, quien quería ser guardián de la luna, no pasó la prueba. Y aunque sus intenciones eran buenas, cuando las Serpientes Pálidas lo rodearon, se notó que en él había una pequeña chispa de maldad. No era suficiente para considerarlo malvado, pero sí bastaba para que nunca pudiera cumplir el rol de guardián de la luna. Déjame tu opinión en los comentarios.

The other day I watched a French independent film called Mune: Guardian of the Moon.

And while I don't have anything too new to analyze, as other film YouTubers have surely done so before, I noticed a detail that got me thinking.

While the test for the guardian of the sun involves a harpoon test, which makes a certain amount of sense since, should the sun leave its orbit, the guardian must be able to catch it, and it also implies that they must be heat-resistant… the test to become a guardian of the moon seems much simpler: a lamb must approach and fondly appreciate it, without detecting any malice in the future guardian.

And I think I found the real reason behind that ritual.

In the same film, it is implied that the lives of the guardian of the sun and the guardian of the moon are connected. Xolal and Yule, the previous guardians of the sun and moon, ironically die at the same time, even before their own predecessors. Phospho, the fish, and Necross, the living mountain, who were guardians long before, are still alive throughout the film.

I think the real purpose of the guardian of the moon being pure is that he is the one who must resist the corruption of the Pale Snakes. If the guardian of the moon isn't pure, he wouldn't be able to free the guardian of the sun should the latter fall into darkness, and the world would end up plunged into darkness.

Phospho was able to uncorrupt Sohone, the current guardian of the sun. And Mune, the current guardian of the moon, manages to purify and free Necross, who had been a corrupted guardian of the sun.

And here's another important detail: Leeyoon, who wanted to be guardian of the moon, failed the test. And although his intentions were good, when the Pale Snakes surrounded him, it was clear he had a small spark of malice in him.
